CPNRI Texting Terms & Conditions

Short Messaging Service (SMS) & Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) Terms & Conditions

Purpose

The Community Provider Network of Rhode Island, also referred to as CPNRI, has developed these short messaging service (SMS) and multimedia messaging service (MMS) terms and conditions to notify all subscribers and potential subscribers of to, but not limited to, expectations, privacy, fees and opt-out policy of its texting program.

CPNRI Messaging Expectations

Messaging frequency varies depending on your account activity and communication with CPNRI. 

CPNRI will send messaging including, but not limited to, legislative updates and calls to action, organization updates, urgent notifications, event notifications, anti-ableism promotion, donation updates and meeting reminders.

Messaging will follow federal guidelines and only be sent between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Fees

CPNRI does not impose a fee for sending text messages. However, standard message and data rates may apply to each message sent or received depending on your mobile telephone service plan. Please contact your mobile telephone carrier for more information.

It is your responsibility to determine if your mobile carrier supports text messaging and if your device can receive messages. Your receipt of our texts is subject to the terms and conditions of your agreement(s) with your mobile carrier.

Opting Out

To stop receiving messages from CPNRI, text STOP to the ten-digit long number you are receiving messages from. You will then receive a confirmation message of your opt-out.

Privacy Policy

CPNRI will never sell your personal information. Any personal information given to CPNRI through its messaging program will be used to customize the messages you receive.

CPNRI reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to, but not limited to, comply with any law, regulation or governmental request.

Agreement

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you authorize CPNRI, our assigns, successors or serving agents to send SMS and MMS notifications to any phone number(s) you provided to us at any time.

Removal

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you authorize CPNRI, our assigns, successors or serving agents to send SMS and MMS notifications to any phone number(s) you provided to us at any time.

Policy Changes

CPNRI reserves the right to change this policy. Any revisions are effective immediately at the time of their posting on the CPNRI website. You agree to review these terms and conditions periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes. Continued consent to receive messages will indicate your acceptance of any changes.
