RIPTA - NOW AND IN THE FUTURE

WEDNESDAY, October 30* from 12-2 pm at 1944 Warwick Ave, Warwick & THURSDAY, October 31 from 12-2 pm at 175 Main Street, Pawtucket

RIPTA's aim is to provide safe, reliable, and cost effective public transit service across the state by offering several options: fixed route bus service, the Flex system, and the RIde paratransit program. 

Hear about RIPTA’s current services and long-range projects that will lead the them into the future, including the Transit Forward RI master plan, the Downtown Transit Connector, electric buses, and a fare system upgrade.  

Also learn about opportunities to participate in the Accessible Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC) and the Human Service Transportation Coordinating Council. 

 A discussion will follow the presentation, and you will have an opportunity to ask questions.As part of OSCIL’s mission to provide outreach, education and opportunities for peer support, OSCIL offers these FREE “Lunch and Learn” workshops highlighting various solutions that can increase access in your home and community.Advance registration is required.
